iPhone App Presentations That Would Make Apple Proud
You have put in the time and effort to code, perfect, and submit your iPhone App, now comes the time to showcase and promote it. Most app developers are exhausted once the actual app is finished so the thought of pulling together a presentation to showcase the app is a real buzz kill. A fried brain is not the most efficient with creativity, so as a service to my developer homies, below are some examples of best practices and links to killer iPhone App presentations. Each point will help you create a PowerPoint or Keynote presentation for your app that stays true to the style, look, and feel consistent with Apple, not-to-mention make them proud (as if they weren’t already).
Keep it Black and White
The common colors most associated with Apple products are black or white. If you want to create a background palette that compliments your iPhone images, keep it black or white (or maybe gray if you really want to get wild) . Here are some good examples:
Use Rounded Edges
Your app icon is rounded, why not add this understatement within your presentation images? IsoBusy App created a presentation that played on iPhone signature rounded edges in all their images.
Accent with iPhone Buttons and Icons
You are already using icons in your iPhone app, keep using them as accents or as bullet points in your presentations. Glyphish has a number of free icons you can download and use.
Use High-Quality (Not-to-Mention Pretty) Images
One thing all great apps have in common – They all have awesome graphics! Make sure your presentation gets the same attention with lots of swanky images. Some great places I recommend to go for images are Corbis Images or Stock.XCHNG.
Or Just Use a Pre-formatted Template
Mockapp has free PowerPoint or Keynote downloads for you to present and showcase your iPhone app. These presentations are mainly used to help developers visualize their ideas and plan how an app will work, but images can also be used in an app presentation. Only payment for this free download is a request to pay it forward. Simple send a tweet or write a blog about it.

Last But Not Least
Don’t forget to share your presentation to the world by posting it on a free online provider such as SlideShare. And since your presentation could be viewed for months after the original post, be sure to include a slide for readers to contact you or a website where they purchase the app.
